Lifeguard:
All lifeguards are hired part-time, less than 30 hours a week. Scheduling is flexible and based on availability and program needs. All lifeguards are required to be American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certified. Lifeguards are responsible for the supervision, safety, and surveillance of all patrons visiting the pool. Lifeguards are needed for all operational hours of the Aquatic Center. Job responsibilities also include staying up-to-date with certifications, life-saving practices, and the facility Emergency Action Plan. Finally, lifeguards are expected to help with the maintenance of the facility (Requires current Red Cross lifeguarding/Waterpark/First Aid/CPR/AED certification, must be at least 15 years old).
Swim Instructor:
Swim Instructors will be responsible for leading group, and private, swim lessons. Our programming consists of Parent/Tot, Pre-School, and Level 1-6 Swim Lessons. Swim Lessons are held Monday - Thursday mornings, and Monday/Wednesday evenings (Requires current Red Cross WSI certification, or equivalent, must be at least 15 years old).
Front Desk Attendant:
Our front desk attendants are responsible for welcoming and meeting the needs of all members and guests at the Aquatic Center. This includes daily admittance, program registration, rental reservations, membership processing, administrative assistance, hosting events and birthday parties, some employee supervision, and any other customer service needs. Front Desk Attendants must also have a working knowledge of the online database Sportsman (gained through on-the-job experience) and be comfortable interacting with members and guests in person, online, and over the phone (Must be 18 years or older to apply).
Pool Assistant:
Pool Assistants will be responsible for supervising the safe use of water attractions at the Aquatic Center, including water slides, rock climbing wall, diving boards, etc. Other significant job responsibilities include supervising the pool deck, maintaining the cleanliness of facility, and assisting the Front Desk Staff, Concession staff, and any other duties brought up by the Aquatics, Operational, or Facilities Managers. Perhaps most importantly, Pool Assistants should be ready to step in wherever they're needed (No certification necessary, must be at least 15 years old).
Concession Stand Worker:
Concession stand workers will be responsible for providing service in selling products to patrons. Employees will be required to perform duties involving monetary exchange, preparing and serving food and beverages, as well as maintaining cleanliness of the facility (No certification necessary, must be at least 15 years old).
